Two separate incidents in Houston have left authorities seeking answers as to the circumstances surrounding the deaths of two individuals. In West Houston, a man's body was discovered early this morning near a cemetery off Westheimer Road. Maintenance workers found the deceased man between the ages of 20 and 30, as reported by FOX 26 Houston. The authorities have yet to identify the man or establish the cause of death, according to HPD Sergeant Matthew Brady.
Meanwhile, on the East Freeway, a pedestrian was struck and killed after being hit by multiple vehicles, a situation currently under investigation by Harris County deputies. The individual, hit initially by a commercial motor vehicle, was subsequently struck by other vehicles after falling onto the roadway - leading to fatal injuries, as mentioned by ABC 13. The first driver did not stop following the incident.
At present, there is no information suggesting a connection between the two tragedies. Medical examiners are working to determine causes of death in both cases. Authorities are calling on the public to come forward with any information that might shed light on these events.
