Constables from Mark Herman's Office are asking the public for assistance after a brazen theft at a local Sunglass Hut. The crime, captured on surveillance footage, took place last Sunday at the store located inside the Houston Premium Outlets. According to a post by the Precinct 4 Facebook page, the theft occurred around 5:45 p.m. when a male and a female suspect, accompanied by a small child, made off with eyewear valued at over $1,400.

As reported by Precinct 4, upon deputies' arrival at the scene, the complainant recounted how the suspects had stolen multiple pairs of sunglasses valued at $1,407.60 before leaving the store. The ongoing investigation aims to identify and capture the individuals responsible for the incident. "If you have any information regarding the identity of these suspects, you are urged to contact our dispatch or your local law enforcement agency,” implored Constable Mark Herman.

In response to the criminal encounter, authorities are stepping up efforts to tap the hive mind of social media users to seed leads. To further this aim, the office of the constable has promoted their mobile app, “C4 NOW,” which provides users with real-time updates on crime, arrests, and public safety notices.
