Earlier this month, traffic was brought to a halt on N Sam Houston Parkway when a driver, now identified as Demondre Woolfolk, was found passed out in his vehicle. The incident, which took place on August 2, drew the attention of deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office. According to their official Facebook page, the responding officers encountered Woolfolk asleep at the wheel in the 4000 block of the parkway.
Upon being roused by the deputies, the man displayed clear signs of intoxication. Field sobriety tests were conducted at the scene, leading to confirmation that Woolfolk was indeed under the influence. Constable Mark Herman's Office detailed the case, stating, "Demondre Woolfolk was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 6."
Following the arrest, the constable's office has been active on social media and their new mobile app, “C4 NOW,” to share updates on traffic incidents, crime, and safety. The app is designed to keep community members informed with timely information about their commutes and neighborhood safety.
