In the flow of city life, officers with Constable Mark Herman's Office came across a scene that was common but still a dangerous result of reckless behavior. Last Sunday, according to a Facebook post by Precinct 4, deputies responded to an incident involving a vehicle that careered through a business parking lot in the 27500 block of the Northwest Freeway and collided with a concrete pole.
Arriving at the scene, deputies found the vehicle and apprehended the driver, identified as David Small. Showing signs of having spent the night indulging in more than just sorrows, Small was subjected to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he failed, as per a report by the Precinct 4 Facebook post.
"David Small was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated," as reported by the Precinct 4. They continued, detailing that his bond was set at a modest $100.00 out of County Court 16.
