A man was found dead from gunshot wounds in Independence Heights, Houston. Houston police are investigating. According to Click2Houston, the man was on a FaceTime call with his girlfriend at a bus stop on North Main at Link Road on Saturday evening when the shooting happened.
A man was found dead near a grassy area by a bus stop on North Main Street near East 34th Street on Saturday around 9 p.m. Houston police said he was on the phone with an unknown person before he started running and the line went silent. His girlfriend used his phone to try to find him and discovered him dead. "Police do not have information about the suspect at the time," as stated by Click2Houston.
The victim's girlfriend tracked him using his cellphone and found him dead. As reported by KHOU: "The girlfriend got worried and tracked him down using his cellphone location. That's when she found him dead." Houston police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact HPD or Crime Stoppers. A homicide investigation is ongoing.
