Authorities in Houston are seeking assistance from the public after a recent liquor store theft escalated to a physical confrontation. According to a report published by the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division, two women are wanted for an incident that took place early this year, where shoplifting turned into an aggressive altercation. The events unfolded on January 3, 2025, mid-afternoon, when the culprits entered the store at the 1500 block of W. 18th Street and attempted to take liquor without payment.
As per the Houston Police Department's release, one suspect attempted to hide the liquor in her bag before both women aimed to leave the premises. Both suspects have been described as black females in their 20s or 30s with heavy builds, one wearing a green shirt and pink/black pants, and the other clad in a black hoodie and black shorts.
The Houston Police Department is asking the public for information about the suspects.
