Twin sisters Rachel Schmidtberger and Lindsey Denny gave birth to their sons on the same day at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. According to Click2Houston, both sisters, who work together as dermatologists, welcomed their babies on Tuesday about 12 hours apart.
Despite fertility challenges, Lindsey learned around Christmas that she had conceived naturally after reportedly "giving up," as reported by KHOU. Soon after, her sister Rachel also announced her pregnancy, with the same due date. Both boys share more than a birthday, as they are considered brother cousins because of their genetic relationship.
Twin sisters Rachel Hamilton and Lindsey Denny, who shared a "twin connection," gave birth on the same day at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital after their obstetrician, Dr. Sharon Vila-Wright, coordinated the deliveries, as mentioned by Click2Houston. Rachel and her husband Michael welcomed Owen Michael Hamilton, and Lindsey and her husband Jared welcomed Hayes Michael Denny. KHOU noted the boys are referred to as "brother cousins."
