
An Humble ISD school bus was involved in an accident in Atascocita this morning, according to officials. The wreck occurred on West Lake Houston Parkway near FM 1960 East. ABC13 reported that the school bus was not carrying any students at the time of the incident.
There were injuries resulting from the crash, with the bus driver and five other individuals from the involved vehicles taken to the hospital, all having sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Only treated at the scene, two other people declined transport to the hospital, as noted by the Atascocita Fire Department in a post on X, the platform once known as Twitter.

The cause of the crash remains undisclosed as investigations continue. "It's unclear at this time what led up to the crash," FOX26 Houston indicated in a recent article covering the event. Authorities have not yet released additional details concerning the circumstances surrounding the accident.
