Charlotte County residents and commuters take note: Atwater Street will be subject to intermittent lane closures until mid-September. The disruptions, which began last Wednesday, continue until September 13, are due to underground power installation by Irby Construction, according to an announcement from the Charlotte County Government.
The affected area spans between Peachland Boulevard and Bachmann Boulevard, with closures from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on weekdays. Detours are in place, and drivers are advised to allow extra travel time.
