The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) issued a warning on Facebook reminding drivers of the consequences of excessive speeding under the Super Speeder law.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, driving at 100 mph or 50 mph over the speed limit can lead to heavy fines and possible jail time.
The post also noted the impact of speeding on roadway safety, stating that more than 100 people have died in crashes this year. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office urged drivers to slow down and follow traffic laws to help reduce fatalities.
