As to the post published on their Facebook page, no prior Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) certification is required to apply, as the department is ready to provide full paid training for the chosen candidates.
Looking to expand their force, the Kannapolis Police Department positions itself as offering more than just employment; instead, they aim to provide a sense of belonging and camaraderie akin to family. "We'll provide full paid training through the Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program – all you need is the drive to serve your community," the Kannapolis Police Department's social media post declares. Moreover, according to the Kannapolis Police Department's announcement, applicants must be at least 20 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED to qualify. A valid driver’s license and U.S. citizenship are also among the minimum requirements.
