Two individuals from Los Angeles were apprehended on Monday following a robbery in the Loma Linda area, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department. The suspects, identified as Jonathan Cabrera-Jauregui, age 31, and Angela Oralia Herrera, age 40, were detained after deputies responded to a theft incident on Benton Street.

Deputies quickly acted to successfully locate a blue Volkswagen SUV, which was reportedly utilized during the robbery incident. The vehicle was found at a residence on the 25100 block of Starr Street. This discovery allowed law enforcement to detain the suspects, Cabrera-Jauregui and Herrera. According to a statement obtained by Nixle, a subsequent search warrant led to the recovery of the stolen property and a larger amount of narcotics indicative of drug sales.

The incident began when the victim reported a suspect forcefully taking tools from the bed of their truck. The confrontation escalated with the suspect threatening the victim with a tool before fleeing the scene. Deputies arriving later managed to link the suspects to the vehicle and the stolen goods after a careful investigation and search of the suspects' residence.

Post-arrest, Cabrera-Jauregui was charged with robbery and possession of stolen property, while Herrera faced charges related to narcotics sales. Both suspects are being held at the Central Detention Center with bail set at $50,000. The authorities have encouraged anyone with more information about the case to come forward and contact Deputy M. Jimenez at the Central Station, or leave a tip anonymously through the We-Tip Hotline.
