Over a parking dispute at a local Academy store, a man has been detained after reportedly drawing a gun on the victim as the incident escalated. According to Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies responded to the call at the 28600 block of Northwest Freeway last Sunday, finding the situation had been defused but still charged with tension. The quick intervention of the deputies led to the identification of a single suspect, linked to the confrontation by several on-scene witnesses.
The suspect, named Jeshurun Williams, faced accusations of aggravated assault when during the altercation, he allegedly pulled out a firearm. As reported on the official Facebook page of Precinct 4, his vehicle was swiftly located by the deputies, and he was found in possession of not one, but two handguns.
Witnesses at the scene played a crucial role, providing consistent identification that landed Williams in the hands of the law. "Jeshurun Williams was arrested and transported to the Harris County Jail where he was booked for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon," Constable Mark Herman stated in a post on the Precinct 4 Facebook page.
The bond was set at $25,000.00 in the 180th District Court for Williams, reflecting the gravity of the charges.
