The streets of Jackson Ave once echoed with the chaos of a 6-car crash that claimed a life. In a recent turn of events stretching over three years, Miron Robinson, the man indicted in connection with this tragic incident, has faced an ongoing battle with the law. According to a social media post from the Shelby County District Attorney's Office, Robinson, whose blood alcohol level measured a staggering .194 and tested positive for methamphetamine at the time of the accident on June 11, 2022, had initially posted bond on May 27, 2025, following his indictment for Vehicular Homicide by Intoxication.
Upon his conditional release, Robinson found himself once again on the wrong side of the law. The Shelby County DA's Office reported his re-arrest for DUI on June 1, 2025, a mere day after securing his freedom. In consequence of this violation, the State moved swiftly to revoke his bond. Robinson, who violated the terms of his release, had Judge Coffee grant the motion, resulting in him being held in custody without bond, as the justice system makes its ponderous advance.
As for Robinson, who now awaits trial, the reality of a custodial sentence looms ever closer. With his bond revoked, he will remain behind bars, awaiting the day when the court will decide his fate.
