
Tragedy struck during a memorial service in Glen Burnie when a man was shot following a fight that erupted among attendees. The Anne Arundel Police Department, according to WBALTV, received a call last night that led them to the scene on Brooks Terrace Road. They found a man there, wounded from a bullet, yet expected to survive.
A large crowd had gathered to honor the recently deceased homeowner when the disruption broke out, and the subsequent shooting wounded an individual who has now sought care at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Amidst the gathered crowd of mourners, officers arrived to secure the scene, accompanied by K9 units as Fox Baltimore reported.
Detectives assigned to the Northern District are currently spearheading the investigation into the incident.
