An incident erupted near a Giant Eagle on Pittsburgh's North Side, leaving one man hospitalized from a stab wound. This morning, Pittsburgh Police responded to a call at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Pressley Street, where they discovered a male victim with a serious injury.
The victim, found near a bus shelter in the parking lot, was rushed to a nearby hospital; his current medical condition is undisclosed, WPX reported. Authorities are still piecing together what led to the altercation, and initial eyewitness reports are scant.
Fortunately, the paired suspects were not long at large. According to WTAE, the man suspected in the stabbing was later apprehended near the 16th Street Bridge. Police also detained the woman for questioning as part of their effort to understand the motives and circumstances surrounding the incident.
