Authorities are searching for 47-year-old Christopher Leman Jr., who is suspected of killing his parents last month in east Harris County. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has charged him with capital murder after the bodies of Christopher Leman Sr., 75, and Mary Leman, 73, were found during a welfare check at their home on Crosby Lynchburg Road on July 11, as reported by KHOU.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reported that Christopher Leman Sr. died at the scene, and Mary Leman died at the hospital on July 13 from a severe head injury, according to Click2Houston. The sheriff’s office said there were no gunshot wounds. Their bodies were found in a densely vegetated area about half a mile west of Crosby Lynchburg Road.
Christopher Leman Jr. is wanted in connection with a double homicide and is considered dangerous. Authorities have not shared details about a motive or the circumstances of the deaths.
