In the heart of Texas, the City of Mansfield is setting a precedent for animal welfare with its ongoing Clear The Shelters campaign, witnessing its 18th adoption this month—a ray of hope for four-legged friends in need of a forever home. As reported on the City of Mansfield, Texas Municipal Government's social media page, the community's joy is apparent as they continue to advocate for the well-being of companion animals.
Adding to the cause, a vaccine clinic is slated to unfold, promising affordable care for pets, Mansfield Animal Care & Control, located at 407 Industrial Blvd., will serve as the venue on Saturday, Aug. 16, where from 8-10 a.m., the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) will deliver low-cost vaccines and services striking a chord with pet owners who prioritize the health of their furry companions yet often grapple with prohibitive costs.
Following the health-focused event, the shelter shifts gears towards connecting animals and humans at an adoption event that turns the conventional setting on its side; Flix Brewhouse at 416 U.S. 287 Frontage Road will transform into an adoption haven, where from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., potential pet owners can enjoy a film while meeting their possible new best friend.
