Mansfield is celebrating a grand slam with the reopening of its revamped sports facility, now known as Fields at Station 63. A partnership between the City of Mansfield, KemperSports, and REV Entertainment has successfully transformed the former Big League Dreams Mansfield into a high-tech destination for athletes and families. The ribbon-cutting is set for September 6, where guests can expect tours, games, and family-friendly festivities.
The overhaul was no small feat. Since January 2025, the partnership has been committed not only to rebranding but to significantly enhancing the location's appeal. Synthetic turf now adorns all eight fields, lighting and fencing received upgrades, and the two dining spots on-site were completely renovated. They didn't just stop there—they also upgraded the indoor practice facility with new turf and retractable walls to adapt to multiple sports needs. As per the City of Mansfield, changes were touted as an effort to reestablish the park’s position as an elite tournament destination.
Child-friendly add-ons include spanking new playground equipment, and plans are already beckoning. The facility is eyeing adding a Miracle League Field, ensuring inclusivity for kids of varying abilities to join the fun. This second phase of the renovation is currently in design stages.
"This facility has been a gathering place for Mansfield residents and visitors to come together and enjoy sports and special events," Mayor Pro Tem Todd Tonore reflected, as per the City of Mansfield. KemperSports, a company with deep roots in sports complex management, will take charge of both the park's daily operations and its transformation, while REV Entertainment lends its expertise to ensure the partnership aligns perfectly with the City's vision.
