A man has been apprehended on multiple felony charges related to break-ins and thefts in Matthews, according to a recent report by the Matthews Police Department. In a social media post, the department shared that investigations by its Criminal Investigations Division identified Mr. Juan Carlos Mancia, born June 14, 2003, as the suspect in a series of commercial property crimes.
After gathering evidence, detectives submitted their findings to the Mecklenburg County Magistrate's Office, which promptly issued arrest warrants for Mancia. The warrants include four counts of Felony Breaking and/or Entering and two counts of Felony Larceny After Breaking and/or Entering. Mancia is currently being held at the Mecklenburg County Jail and is facing additional felony charges across multiple jurisdictions in the region.
The identification and arrest of Mancia resulted from a thorough investigative process. The issuance of warrants and related legal actions, carried out in coordination with the Magistrate's Office, reflect the department’s adherence to legal protocols and focus on community safety.
