The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) has announced that its Maui District Office will continue to fully operate while undergoing significant roof repairs. The construction, which started on August 4, is expected to be completed by the end of September, according to a recent DHHL statement.
During this period, the office hours are set to remain between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Ongoing construction activities may lead to the presence of debris and equipment, causing potential hazards in walkways and common areas. Visitors are encouraged to consistently be cautious when navigating these spaces. Any disruptions are being minimized to ensure the offices can effectively continue to serve the public.
The DHHL has taken steps to ensure that beneficiaries needing assistance won’t be left in the lurch. Those requiring on-site support can reach out to the Maui District Office staff by calling (808) 760-5120. This measure aims to provide uninterrupted service, allowing for a seamless flow of assistance to those who depend on the DHHL's services.
