Mayor Richard Bissen will visit Molokaʻi on August 25 and 26 as part of the Holomua Kākou initiative. The visits aim to bring local government services closer to residents and allow them to share their concerns directly with elected officials, according to the County of Maui.
The Mayor's office announced that the "Mayor Bissen and Team in Your Town" event will be held on August 25 at the Mitchell Paʻuole Community Center. Residents can meet the mayor’s staff during office hours starting at 10 a.m. and attend a community talk story with Mayor Bissen from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., as reported by the County of Maui.
The County will hold a grant-writing workshop on August 26, led by Mayor’s Chief of Staff Cynthia Lallo and County Budget Director Lesley Milner. Residents can submit questions by email or attend an in-person talk story session. Similar Holomua Kākou events are planned for Lānaʻi in September, as stated by the County of Maui.
