The Memphis Police Department has made a break in a case involving a string of violent crimes, leading to the arrest of one individual and triggering an extensive search for another. As reported by Action News 5, the MPD Fugitive Unit apprehended Camarion Galison on Wednesday, August 20. Galison was wanted for attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated burglary, and two counts of aggravated robbery. Once in custody, additional charges were added, including five counts of aggravated robbery involving collaboration with a cohort.
The ongoing search is for 24-year-old Cameran Bonds, whose alleged crimes include an attempt on a person's life and domestic assault, in addition to sharing the counts of especially aggravated burglary and multiple aggravated robberies with Galison. WREG confirms Bonds' charges also encompass aggravated assault and vandalism over $1,000. Bonds' participation extends to the same violent crimes as Galison, suggesting a partnership in these offenses.
With roots in a tragic incident, the case gained momentum when a shooting at an Orange Mound motel on August 11 left a man critically injured, incurring multiple gunshot wounds. FOX13 Memphis reported a witness at the scene identified the two suspects involved in the break-in and shooting. This incident seems linked to the pattern of crimes that Galison and Bonds are accused of committing together.
MPD has actively encouraged anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Bonds to come forward, providing the CrimeStoppers contact at 901-528-CASH, a pivotal step in the quest for justice. The community's cooperation could aid in drawing the investigation to a close, completing the narrative of a partnership that has left behind a trail of violence and victimization. Individuals with insights into Bonds' location can engage with law enforcement with the assurance of anonymity, possibly leading to another apprehension in the case that has gripped Memphis.
