Officer Kevin Brodzinski was promoted to the rank of Sergeant at the City of Mentor on the Lake Council Meeting this past Tuesday. Education and service are at the core of Sgt. Brodzinski's professional journey. A top 10% graduate from Kent State and a postgraduate from Georgia Southern University, he has demonstrated dedication not just in the academic arena but also in military service. Prior to his police roles, Sgt. Brodzinski served as an army captain, where his responsibilities included being a certified Combat Lifesaver and Battery Commander, with a deployment in 2004 under Operation Enduring Freedom. His transition to law enforcement includes a tenure as an auxiliary officer to a communications office,r leading up to his recognition for Departmental Excellence and Exceptional Service.
As a part of Mentor on the Lake Police Department, Sgt. Brodzinski has continued to show an unwavering commitment to community and policing excellence.
