Get ready for some hands-on fun as Touch-a-Truck returns to delight families in Milton this September. Hosted by the City of Milton in collaboration with Stonecreek Church, the event is set to run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, with a special sensory-friendly hour available from 9 to 10 a.m. This quiet hour is designed for individuals with special needs who may prefer to explore without the larger crowds. According to an announcement from the City of Milton, this year's event will be located at Stonecreek Church's parking lot at 13540 Highway 9.

Touch-a-Truck offers a range of vehicles for kids to climb on and adults to admire, including a NASCAR pace car, a monster truck, emergency vehicles like a fire engine and SWAT truck, and even a tree-trimming crane. While feeling the monster truck's massive tires, visitors will also have a chance to check out a makeover party bus, adding a touch of glamour to the parking lot filled with metal beasts. Families can also bump into a surprise guest star, typically a character known from the world of cartoons.

Aside from the vehicular showcase, the event promises numerous other activities. Kids can bounce on giant inflatables, get a balloon twisted into fun shapes, or have their hair bedazzled as reported by the City of Milton. For those hunger pangs, a variety of food options are available including donuts, burgers, coffee, popsicles, tacos, and ice cream from different food vendors.

Parking arrangements include shuttle service from King’s Ridge Christian School located at 2765 Bethany Bend. Additional parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Milton Public Safety Complex, nearby office complexes, and on-campus at Stonecreek Church. Making his way through the array of cars and trucks hungry, guests won't have to wander far to find the array of snacks and food available to cater to every taste.

The community can extend a thank you to several high-level supporters who are helping make this event possible. Among them are the Butler Swayne Real Estate Team, Chandler Law, New Leaf Chiropractic, Painted Horse Winery, and the Reid Casey Real Estate Team. The support extends to other local businesses as well, including Camp Arrowhead, Little Sunshine’s Playhouse daycare, Mighty Dog Roofing, Nova Chiropractic, and more. On-site support and activities are provided thanks to sponsors like Bach to Rock and Karate Atlanta.
