
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced that 76-year-old Elaine Banks Douglas, who had been reported missing, was found safe by Georgia law enforcement.
As per the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office's Facebook post, Ms. Douglas, who has dementia, was last seen driving a white 2010 Toyota Venza with Florida license plate JW020A. A Silver Alert was issued, and authorities released her description, including height, weight, eye and hair color, and clothing at the time she went missing.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office confirmed her safe recovery but did not provide details on the circumstances or location in Georgia where she was found.
