
The search for 13-year-old Dontrell Kafaye Carter, reported missing from Bellefontaine Neighbors, ended this morning when he was found safe. Carter had last been seen yesterday around 6 p.m. running northbound on the 10100 block of Coburg Lands, according to FOX2Now. Due to limited information at the time, he was considered endangered.
First Alert 4 reported that Carter was later seen on camera leaving his house around 8 p.m. and had left a note indicating possible self-harm. The Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department issued an endangered person advisory and asked the community for assistance.
Carter is described as a Black male, about 5'6", with a medium build, medium complexion, and an afro. Authorities had not confirmed what he was wearing when he disappeared.
According to KSDK, Carter was found safe this morning, and the endangered person advisory was canceled by police. Further details about his disappearance and return have not been released.
