The search for a 16-year-old girl reported missing in Harris County ended safely, with authorities canceling the Amber Alert after locating her in Huntsville. As reported by FOX 26 Houston, the teenager was last seen in Spring on Tuesday and had been seen with Nathaniel Young, a 22-year-old man.
Following a brief search, the girl was found on Wednesday. According to information from Click2Houston, Nathaniel Garrett Young was arrested and charged upon being discovered with the teen in Huntsville. Young is believed by deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Precinct 4 Office to have formed a relationship with her through social media before picking her up from her neighborhood and leaving with her.
After the teen's disappearance on Tuesday, she was found a day later on Wednesday, safe from harm. The precise circumstances of the reunion with her family have not been disclosed to the public. Young, whose relationship with the teenager led to his arrest, is now facing charges of harbouring a runaway.
