The city of Milwaukee can breathe a sigh of relief as the two previously reported missing siblings, 10-year-old Joseph McPherson and 13-year-old Staria McPherson, have been found safe. The Milwaukee Police Department had earlier requested the community's assistance to help locate the children after they were last seen around 2 p.m. on Wednesday near North 15th Street and West Concordia Avenue. According to FOX6 News, the siblings were last believed to be on foot in the area.
The effort to swiftly identify their whereabouts was a dampened by the sheer number of places two children could venture to, making the situation increasingly stressful for those involved. Joseph was described as having a thin build, standing around 4'2" tall, and weighing 80 pounds with a low natural haircut. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with black basketball shorts. His sister Staria, who is 5'4" tall, was last seen in either a white or pink cropped top and light blue flared jeans. This description, obtained by WISN, was echoed in public appeals.
The siblings have returned to safety. In reference to the resolution of the case, Seehafer News promptly shared that anyone with lingering information regarding the incident should still reach out to the Milwaukee Police Department.
