The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying suspects involved in a daylight robbery in Northwest D.C. The incident took place on the 1300 block of V Street, Northwest, on Wednesday, July 30, around 1:31 p.m., when several individuals confronted a person. As reported by MPD's press release, one of the suspects produced a handgun, threatening the victim and demanding their possessions.
Captured by nearby surveillance, images of the suspects have been released. The victim, who faced the robber's barrel, handed over their belongings, after which the suspects took off. MPD is offering a substantial reward for information leading to an arrest and is urging anyone with information to come forward. The Department's press release stated, "The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia."
