It was rush hour chaos when a gray Mustang was caught tearing through the 8900 block of W Sam Houston Pkwy N. Precinct 4's own Deputy Boughter pulled over the reckless driver, who was clocked at a jaw-dropping 97 mph, inadvertently setting off a series of events that would lead straight to a jail cell. The traffic stop escalated when officers found the driver had an expired registration from 2023 and both a suspended and expired license.
In a daring blend of velocity and violation, the driver, whose identity remains undisclosed, was not only flirting with speed limits but also with the law - with a staggering count of 20 active warrants looming over. Following the stop, the Mustang driver found himself in cuffs, and the vehicle was impounded; a "Great work!" recognition was duly noted by the precinct on their social media.
Precinct 4 shared details of the arrest on Facebook, where they regularly post updates on crime, arrests, safety tips, traffic accidents, and road conditions. To keep residents informed on the go, they have launched “C4 NOW,” a mobile app that provides real-time updates.
