Southeast wind around 5 mph," reports the NWS site for today's weather. The calm continues into the evening with southeastern winds becoming tranquil.
The upcoming week is set to begin with sunny skies and a shift towards increased humidity and a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms on Monday. The NWS outlines a pattern that brings slightly cooler evenings, with the low around 74 degrees on Monday night and calm winds persisting.
Chances for rain and thunderstorms rise on Tuesday and into midweek, with a 40 percent likelihood each day, mainly after 1pm. "A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 90. South wind around 5 mph," the NWS projects for Tuesday's daytime weather. Evening temperatures for the week are expected to stay consistent, hovering in the low to mid-70s.
While the forecast hints at wetter conditions as the week progresses, Wednesday night sees a reduced chance of showers and storms, down to 20 percent. Nonetheless, the general trend features a mixture of sun and clouds, with daytime temperatures remaining steady in the low 90s and thunderstorms becoming a regular part of the forecast.
