Quenton Marselles Brown, 57, appeared for a brief hearing on Tuesday morning and formally acknowledged receiving a criminal complaint charging him with attempted murder and three counts of battery with a deadly weapon.
According to News 3 Las Vegas, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police alleged Brown stabbed a man repeatedly after getting into an argument over a "door ding" at All American Park on Wednesday, Aug. 20. The incident, which occurred in broad daylight at the park located on Buffalo Drive near Charleston Boulevard, has drawn significant attention due to the connection to the NBA Finals MVP's family.

The altercation began when the victim, identified as Cross Tupuola, a youth football coach, was sitting in his car with his girlfriend and an SUV pulled up next to them. As reported by TMZ, someone came out of the passenger's side and dinged the driver's side of the other car. The coach got out of his car to check the damage, but Brown brushed it off and called him a derogatory name before allegedly pulling a knife and stabbing the victim in his back while his back was turned.
