Drivers in Nevada are in for a week of travel adjustments as the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) brings back overnight lane and ramp closures on Interstate 15, as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project. Specifically on the night of Sunday, August 10, the disruptions will include the northbound I-15 narrowing down to a single lane stretching from Sloan Rd to Warm Springs Rd, the temporary closing of the Cactus Ave on-ramp to southbound I-15 and the off-ramp to St. Rose Parkway, as well as the closure of the eastbound Blue Diamond Rd flyover ramp to northbound I-15, beginning at 8:00 p.m. till the break of dawn the following day, these changes extend throughout the week with southbound I-15 seeing a reduction to one lane from Starr Ave to St. Rose Pkwy, effective from Monday to Friday during the same nightly hours.
Ongoing works have already seen the southbound I-15 cut down to three lanes from Warm Springs Rd to Blue Diamond Rd round the clock, a limitation that will persist through August 2025.
