In a social media post from NYPD Crimestoppers, authorities detailed that last Tuesday at around 1:40 p.m., an unidentified person discharged a firearm towards a crowd near Beach 65 Street and Beach Channel Drive, an area within the 110 Precinct.
According to NYPD CrimeStoppers, the incident began without warning as gunfire disrupted the midday period, prompting a police response. The suspect, who has not been identified, remains at large, and a search is ongoing. The NYPD is asking the public for information and has posted a video related to the case on its official Facebook page to assist in the investigation.
