
The New York Police Department is currently seeking information on an assault that occurred earlier this month in Queens. On August 1, at approximately 6:51 a.m., an incident escalated into violence in the vicinity of Broadway and 46th Street, within the 114 Precinct's boundaries.
According to a social media post by NYPD Crimestoppers, the confrontation began with a verbal dispute between a 30-year-old male and an unidentified individual, which quickly turned physical. After the verbal exchange, the suspect entered a dark-colored Nissan Altima, using the vehicle as a weapon to strike the victim, causing him to fall. While the victim lay on the ground, the unidentified individual escalated the assault by delivering multiple punches before fleeing the scene.
The police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect, who was last seen driving northbound on 45th Street. The event is still under investigation, and authorities are combing through available evidence to track down the assailant.
