
The New York City Police Department is actively seeking information regarding a violent robbery that occurred in Manhattan late last month. The incident took place on Saturday, July 19, in the vicinity of West 46 Street and 11 Avenue, around the witching hour of 2:05 A.M. According to NYPD Crimestoppers, an unidentified assailant made a failed attempt to steal a necklace from a 30-year-old male. During this altercation, the suspect brandished a firearm, and in a subsequent struggle, the victim was shot once in the torso.
Law enforcement officials are urging the public to come forward with any potentially helpful information.
