Residents of Oak Creek, and particularly those near 27th and Rawson Avenue, faced a disturbing event this past Saturday night as a home invasion occurred while two children were inside. According to FOX6 News, the homeowner was able to witness the break-in in real-time through surveillance cameras and promptly contacted the police at approximately 9:44 p.m.
The Oak Creek Police Department responded swiftly to the residence. They established phone contact with the children, orchestrating their safe departure from the house, as noted by WTMJ. The children were unharmed and subsequently reunited with their parents, nevertheless, the incident underscores the vulnerability that comes when intruders breach the sanctity of home.
In a statement to WISN, police divulged that upon reviewing the surveillance footage, they identified three individuals as the likely perpetrators. However, despite this lead, the suspects have not yet been brought into custody and their whereabouts remain unknown. It is also currently unclear if the suspects managed to abscond with any property from the house. The police have confirmed that no other individuals were inside the residence post-incident, and they are continuing to seek information on the suspects involved.
