In an early morning outbreak of violence in Stockton, a 30-year-old man was slain and a 19-year-old man seriously wounded following a shooting incident, as reported by local authorities. The shooting took place around 12:19 a.m. on the 3100 block of East Main Street.
According to ABC10, both victims were promptly transported to a nearby hospital. There, the older victim succumbed to his injuries, while the younger man remains in critical but stable condition. The expectation, despite the grievous circumstances, is that he will survive.
Homicide detectives are reported to now be thoroughly investigating the tragic event. The Stockton Police Department has yet to publicly identify a suspect in the case, as per a report by KCRA.
