Parker County Emergency Services District 1 responded to a one-alarm grass fire on Yucca View. The fire, which occurred within the jurisdiction of Box 4822, was brought under control by firefighting teams, assuaging immediate threats to the surrounding communities, according to the Parker County Emergency Services District 1.
Parker County Emergency Services District 1 (PCESD 1) reported that a grass fire was successfully contained last Saturday afternoon. While the immediate threat has been mitigated, firefighters remained on scene through the afternoon hours to establish containment lines and prevent any potential flare-ups or spread.
“The fire is under control, firefighters will remain on scene establishing containment lines through the afternoon,” PCESD 1 stated in a release, underscoring the ongoing efforts required even after flames are suppressed.
