The anticipated path of the march was projected to affect major thoroughfares such as Northwest Naito Parkway and Northwest Davis Street, along with several cross streets culminating at Southwest Columbia Street. The Portland Police Bureau, in response, strategically positioned dialogue officers and bicycle patrol units to mingle with the gathering.
