
A recent incident in Downtown Las Vegas has left a pedestrian in the hospital after being struck by a car. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that around 10:20 p.m., a collision occurred near Ogden and Main Street, according to Fox5 Vegas. The involved pedestrian was quickly taken to receive medical care while the driver of the vehicle has been cooperating with police at the scene.
The accident resulted in multiple road closures, with officials advising that part of Ogden Avenue would be to remain closed from Main Street to Casino Center, and 1st Street was also closed from Fremont Street to Stewart Avenue. As the investigation by the LVMPD Traffic Bureau continues, travelers have been urged to seek alternate routes and to avoid the area for the next several hours, as reported by News3LV.
