The Petaluma Police Department has reported the arrest of Jonathan RomoGomez, a 25-year-old resident of Petaluma, who was clocked traveling northbound near the Sonoma County line at speeds surpassing 130 miles per hour.
According to the Petaluma Police Department, it was nearly 11 p.m. when an officer spied RomoGomez on his speedy two-wheeled machine. This prompted a traffic stop that ended with handcuffs rather than a simple citation.
The impounding of the motorcycle was just one of the consequences RomoGomez faced. The Petaluma Police Department, in their social media post, did not mince words when they delivered their message, reminding motorists that "excessive speeds and reckless driving puts everyone on the roadway at risk."
