
Pittsburgh police are active in their search for a man linked to a shooting in Downtown Pittsburgh. Two individuals were injured during this incident that took place on Penn Avenue and Garrison Place last Friday. Authorities have released photos of the man, who is noticeable in an all-black outfit and carrying a backpack, and are requesting community assistance to identify this person of interest.
According to WPXI, the shooting occurred around 4:20 p.m., resulting in a woman being struck in the leg and a man suffering gunshot wounds to his arm and leg. Both victims' conditions were reported to be stable upon transport to the hospital.
Police also mentioned that although two people were detained for questioning, stability in the community remains intact as there's no ongoing threat. WTAE added that the person of interest was seen fleeing the scene toward Liberty Avenue after the shots were fired just before 4:30 p.m.
