
A 45-year-old man was discovered fatally stabbed inside a Queens residence after police responded to an emergency call over the weekend. The victim sustained a fatal stab wound to his torso and was located inside a triplex on Case Street in Elmhurst, as reported by NY Daily News. The police arrived at the scene shortly before 6 p.m. last Saturday but were unable to save the man, who was later pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital.
As more information becomes available, authorities responded to a call for assistance at 40-38 Case St., where a man was found with multiple stab wounds to the chest. According to reports, a neighbor discovered the victim face down and bleeding in the basement stairwell. The man had sustained seven stab wounds, highlighting the severity of the assault, according to a law enforcement source cited by QNS.
No arrests have been made at this time, and authorities have yet to release a description of the suspect. Homicide detectives from the NYPD’s 110th Precinct in Elmhurst, located just a few blocks from the scene, are actively investigating the incident. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
