Authorities are actively seeking a woman accused of deploying pepper spray against a man during a dispute on the L train in Queens. As per ABC7NY, the assault, which left the 68-year-old victim with minor injuries, happened last Sunday at the Halsey Street station in Ridgewood. The altercation escalated when the woman reportedly sprayed the man in the face.
After the incident, as described by AMNY, the woman fled the scene. Police units from the 104th Precinct and NYPD Transit District 33 have taken on the case, with the victim having received treatment for the injuries incurred during the assault. The police have offered a description of the suspect: a woman about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 125 pounds, with long brown hair and a light complexion. She was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue shorts.
