A routine traffic stop turned into a felony arrest on Falvel Road, when Constable Mark Herman's officers from the Special Operations Unit and North Central Patrol pulled over driver Richard Bowman last Saturday. According to the official Facebook page for Precinct 4, the stop led to the discovery of both illegal drugs and firearms. Bowman, who has a prior conviction on record, was found with 1.26 grams of methamphetamine and a loaded Glock pistol.
"Richard Bowman was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felon in Possession of a Firearm," Constable Mark Herman was quoted on Precinct 4's Facebook page. At the time of the social media update, Bowman's bond had not been set by the 228th District Court.
