The Punta Gorda Charlotte Library will host Pet Safety Day on Saturday next week to provide information on pet care and safety. The event is organized in partnership with the Animal Welfare League and the Parrot Rescue Society and will offer guidance on topics such as nutrition, training, and emergency care. The Fiber Arts Guild will demonstrate how to make dog leashes, as per the Charlotte County website.
The library’s makerspace will be open for participants to create items for their pets, including custom laser-engraved pet tags. The event will also feature craft activities and snacks.
