
A repeat DWI offender caused a crash on the 4400 block of Louetta Road and was arrested by local authorities. Constable Mark Herman’s office said Norris Helms, the driver, showed signs of intoxication when deputies arrived on Friday, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Norris Helms, who had a previous DWI conviction, underwent Standardized Field Sobriety Tests by Constable Deputies. The tests showed he was intoxicated. His blood alcohol level was 0.195, more than twice the legal limit, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"Norris Helms was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense." Bond and court details have not been set.
