Even at night, it won’t cool down much. The NWS says Friday night will be clear with a low around 66°F and light south winds. Clear skies mean the heat from the day will stick around, which is common in Sacramento summers.
The heat will continue through the week. Monday’s high is expected to be 98°F, and by Wednesday, it may cool slightly to around 90°F. But sunny, hot weather will stick around, and there’s no sign of a break from the heat anytime soon.
